What it is.With Xaelander, you can finally bridge the gap between tracking hardware and content creation apps (such as Maya, 3DMax, or After Effects). Gain multiple point or 6DOF position-rotation channels with absolute, fluid control.
"I have to admit that so far, I'm quite impressed with Xaelander's capabilities as an animation tool; it's just fantastic for laying down the foundation of the animation you're hoping to create. Finally, a proper tech demo to show what the SDK and Xaelander are capable of. A cross of Maya and Ogre captured footage with no pre-rendered scenes... just straight up realtime capture. Controlling everything with natural, realtime ease-of-use is a thing of beauty.

As promised, here's a complete rendering of Motion4U's SVN code development up until March 15th. A lot of customization has gone into this rendering (even a spiffy custom timeline). I may put up a post in my blog about that (it was far from painless).
As you can see, development has been picking up steam and we're all very excited about bringing release 2.5.3 to bear. World, get ready for practical mocap on the desktop. Woohoo!
Headquartered in Orlando Florida, Motion4U by Touché Technologies LLC was formed after nine years of research and development into motion capture. In 2008, it was included in FundingPost's "Top 50" emerging companies. In 2009, the company launched its newest 3D motion tracking suite, Xaelander, the first simultaneous, absolute, 6DOF control interface. Touché Technologies, LLC is continuing to build on its desktop motion capture technology base with the development of next generation digital media interface systems for the professional and retail markets in casual gaming, sports & exercise, physical rehabilitation, military and medical applications.
